Survey Reporting Features in Detail |
Our reports and reporting features are the best in the business. You will love the flexibile reporting options and the array of report formats that we provide with each and every survey.
The following list of reporting features are available with our online survey tool. In addition to the features listed here, we can create custom reports to meet your specific needs.
Standard Reporting Features
- Several Output Formats to Choose From - Common formats include HTML, Word, and Excel. Scroll down for more detail on report formats.
- Demographic Subgroups - Generate reports that contain any demographic subgroup of respondents (based on the demographic questions you include in your survey). This enables you to see how different demographic groups responded to your survey.
- View Old Reports - All reports you create are archived for 40 days so you can go back and look at them whenever you need to. (Longer archival time available by special request.) Of course, if your reports expire, you can just go back in and run them again.
- Individual Responses - View complete details for each individual survey response. For people who don't finish the survey, you can select which incomplete responses you want to include in your reports on a case by case basis.
- Unlimited Volume - Create as many reports as you want. There are absolutely no limitations on the number of reports that you can generate. We typically store all survey data for a period of one year or longer, so you can return months later and still access your survey.
Advanced Reporting Features (included with every survey)
- Date Range - Generate reports based on a specific date range of responses. This is useful for trend analysis where you want to see how responses have changed over a period of time.
- Advanced Respondent Filtering - Generate reports based on responses to specific survey questions. This is similar to the demographic subgroup reporting explained above, but with this feature, you can treat various items in your survey as if they were demograhic questions.
- Cross Tabulation - View a grid of response totals for any two items (Likert scale, multiple choice, and demographic question types). The crosstab engine enables you to quickly see a complete layout of the relationship between two survey questions and includes color coded "hot spots" that visually highlight key relationships between the items.
- Correlation Analysis - View statistically significant correlations between items to better understand how various items relate to one another.
Report Formats
Reports can be generated at any time, even while you are still collecting responses. Regardless of what your data needs are, we have a report that has been designed to meet them, including:
- MS Word - Our flagship report provides full-color bar charts as well as numeric data break-downs. This report is presentation-ready - just click and print and you are done. Since the report is a Word document, it is very easy for you to edit it as needed.
- HTML - Each web-based report has a unique URL that you can share with others for online viewing.
- MS Excel Data Summary - The MS Excel report rolls up all the data for each item in your survey into a convenient spreadsheet format. Use this report to conduct additional data analyses or to create custom graphs in Excel.
- Raw Data - The complete raw data set is always available. This report has been specially designed to import easily into your statistical analysis software package (e.g. SPSS or SAS). This report is most useful for people who want to dig deeper into their data with more advanced statistical methods such as inter-item correlation or factor analysis.
- Individual Responses - View the complete details of each individual response.
- Cross Tabulation Engine - This online reporting engine lets you view all response combinations between two items.
- Correlation Analysis Engine - This online reporting engine lets you view statistically significant correlations between items.
- Custom Reporting - We can customize any report or create an entirely new report to meet your specific needs.
